Multi-purpose Transitions that can be used in all pipe materials in building installations are reliable and economical for nominal diameter changes. When connecting pipes with different nominal diameters or pipes made of different materials, the flow direction should be taken into account.
Made of high quality material, made of ozone resistant EPDM elastomer. It has stainless steel and austenitic tension strips. It has high resistance to chemicals. The product should not be in contact with gasoline, but it can be in contact with oil and solvents under certain conditions. It has good resistance to acid and alkali and can be laid in the ground. It is resistant to the harmful rays of the sun. It can be used safely at temperatures between -40°C and +120°C.
The application area for the multi-purpose Transition 0.6 bar product is areas without shear forces, up to an internal pressure of 0.6 bar.
Tensioning ranges are 32-460 mm. The recommended tightening torque is 3 Nm up to 100 mm and 6 Nm after 100 mm.
