R470 Giacomini Thermostatic Valve Features

R 470 Giacomini Thermostatic Valve is one of the thermostatic valves with liquid sensor and also has CEN approval.

The desired room temperature is set according to the table below from the scale located on the thermostatic valve head.

0 - 3 ºC

* - 8 ºC

1 - 10 ºC

2 - 15 ºC

3 - 20 ºC

4 - 25 ºC

5 - 30 ºC

Regardless of the outside temperature, when the desired room temperature is reached, the thermostatic valve cuts off the water flow to the radiator and reduces the amount of water that the combi or boiler needs to heat. In this way, a lot of fuel will be saved. When the room cools down again, it allows water to flow to the radiator again and allows the room to reach the desired temperature again.

Giacomini Thermostatic valve has a limiting feature. Thanks to the special locking mechanism on the thermostatic valve head, it can be limited from the bottom to prevent the room from falling below the desired temperature, and it can also be limited from the top to prevent it from rising above the desired temperature.
